A reproducible spell selection for a character that has acquired the listed spells. It describes the actual book and hotbar project, while leaving ancestry and a complete 1,000-point action allocation to a separate character template.
- Activity
- Ground-based magic support and ordinary encounters with companions
- Edition / reference
- MO2-specific 2022 core spell-kit reference, checked against live/PTR context October 2026. A documented baseline, not a new current-meta race/stat claim.
- Named choices
- 10
Configuration and exact selections
- Magic skill target
- Ecumenical Spells 62 or higher for the referenced core kit
The documented 62 baseline covers Thunderlash; verify live spellbook requirements before travel.
- Spell 1
- Spurt
A cheap named tactical damage choice.
- Spell 2
- Purify
Keep available when a removable effect obstructs healing.
- Spell 3
- Lesser Heal
The smaller recovery option.
- Spell 4
- Greater Heal
The stronger recovery selection; must actually be scribed.
- Spell 5
- Outburst
A separate offensive spell in the Ecumenical kit.
- Spell 6
- Corrupt
A named debuff option; respect friendly/hostile targeting.
- Spell 7
- Magic Reflect
A spell-reflection tool, not invulnerability or a general melee shield.
- Spell 8
- Thunderlash
The referenced higher-burst offensive choice.
- Book and reagents
- Scribed spellbook + Water + Calamine + Cuprum + Rock Oil + Sulfur + Nitre + Ichor
Carry the actual reagents displayed by each learned spell; no free-casting assumption.
How to use this setup
- Scribe and verify all eight spells in the active book; check each reagent requirement and effective skill.
- Prepare Magic Reflect only when its interaction is useful for the planned encounter.
- Use Spurt or Outburst for the intended opening; use Thunderlash when a safe cast and its reagent cost fit.
- If a removable debuff blocks recovery, use Purify before committing to the required heal.
- Choose Lesser Heal for an appropriate small recovery or Greater Heal for a larger recovery window; preserve distance and mana.
Priorities and progression
- Mental Offense supports ordinary spell damage/healing; support its prerequisites instead of training only the spell-school number.
- Watch mana regeneration and armour-related casting constraints in the live character sheet.
- The listed skill baseline is a dated functional spell selection, not a claim that every race/body has identical caps.
How the selected kit works
A book containing a spell is separate from the skill required to cast it reliably. Inspect both before leaving the supply point, then carry reagents for the mix of attacks and heals you actually intend to use. The October 2026 PTR changes are a test context; they do not justify silently rewriting the live kit’s skill relationships. This is a support hotbar, not a claim that a character with only these choices is ready for every PvP fight.
