This is an equipment loadout for the combat system that is actually available, rather than an invented eight-button faction rotation. Equip the named metal pieces at a level you can use, keep a one-handed Rapier with a shield for the primary melee plan, and reserve the ranged slot for Metal Bow. Item level and generated attributes vary, so the same item name does not guarantee identical performance.
- Activity
- Solo active PvE, faction equipment progression

Configuration and exact selections
- Primary melee weapon
- Rapier
One-handed metal weapon for the shield plan.
- Shield
- Metal Heater Shield
Pair with the Rapier; do not assume a two-handed bow also keeps this protection.
- Ranged weapon
- Metal Bow
Provides a distinct ranged opening rather than another melee weapon.
- Head
- Great Helm
Select a usable level and inspect the actual resistances.
- Torso
- Plate Torso
Named Cryoknight armour choice, not a generic highest-rarity instruction.
- Legs
- Plate Legs
Keep this slot updated alongside the torso.
- Feet
- Plate Boots
Use the level and defence on the item you actually own.
- Hands
- Plate Gauntlets
Completes the named armour package.
How to use this setup
- Start at range with Metal Bow when the target and room permit a safe opening.
- Switch to Rapier and Metal Heater Shield before settling into melee; keep movement available.
- Abort an attack early by moving if the enemy telegraphs danger; the September combat update added this brief cancellation window.
- Use a healing potion during combat when needed. After combat, eat food before the next pull instead of expecting an automatic full heal.
Priorities and progression
- Match usable equipment level to your global combat level before comparing rarity.
- Compare the actual weapon damage type against the enemy and inspect armour resistance, rather than choosing only by visual faction theme.
- Use current healing potion tooltips: the September update changed healing amounts and caps.
What this shopping list does and does not specify
Rapier and the six defensive pieces define the actual loadout; Metal Bow gives the opening option. Choose examples close to your usable combat level. This is not a promise that a rare drop at a much lower level beats your current gear, nor an instruction to purchase maximum-level items your character cannot equip.
Provisioning after the combat update
The current system separates emergency potions in combat from eating food outside combat. Keep supplies accessible and check the provisions belt instead of planning a long series of fights around full recovery after each kill. The build has no fabricated special attack or skill-point tree.
