A reproducible action-and-weapon kit for an already unlocked Carnage character. It puts the actual attacks on the page and distinguishes the damage job from a Brute tank’s weapon-swapping duties.
- Activity
- Level-80 PvE melee damage with a separate group tank
- Edition / reference
- Age of Conan: Unchained; dated community Carnage action configuration, checked October 2026. Exact combo ranks come from the historical level-80 reference.
- Named choices
- 12
Configuration and exact selections
- Class and damage path
- Conqueror — Carnage
Use a learned Carnage damage loadout, not a Brute tank layout.
- Main hand
- One-handed edged sword
Use a level-appropriate sword for the dual-wield kit.
- Off hand
- One-handed edged sword
Equip an actual second weapon so offhand-related actions have the intended setup.
- Armour
- Heavy armour
Keep the class’s usable heavy-armour baseline; damage role still needs encounter survival.
- Opening debuff
- Breach
Make the debuff available before the next damaging cycle.
- Primary cycle attack
- Whirlwind
The selected named Carnage combo.
- Bleed combo
- Bloodbath VII
The dated level-80 reference uses rank VII; do not replace it with a tanking combo automatically.
- Filler combo
- Bloody Hack VI
The named rank in the reference’s damage loop.
- Damage action 1
- Rend Flesh
Use during a genuine attack window, not while running away from the target.
- Damage action 2
- Bladeweave
Maintain its relevant damage effect while dual wielding.
- Emergency feat action
- Cunning Deflection
Select its feat access before expecting the action on the bar.
- Soldier AA utility
- Resolve
Learn and equip it for encounters that require clearing a Wrack.
How to use this setup
- Equip two one-handed edged weapons and select the learned Carnage damage loadout.
- Keep Bladeweave active and use Breach to prepare the target.
- Use Whirlwind and Bloodbath VII, timing Rend Flesh for an attack window that can connect.
- Use Bloody Hack VI between the important cooldowns, returning to Breach/Whirlwind as they become available.
- Use Cunning Deflection for the intended incoming danger; use equipped Resolve when a removable Wrack requires it, rather than treating it as a generic heal.
Priorities and progression
- Use weapon damage, Strength and the relevant physical offensive ratings for this dual-wield role.
- Check Hit Rating against the actual encounter before putting every upgrade into critical damage.
- Maintain Constitution/HP and mitigation appropriate to the activity; taking the damage role does not remove incoming mechanics.
- No contemporary raid parse, universal hit cap or item-market cost is inferred from the historical configuration.
How the selected kit works
Dual wielding is the equipment decision behind the selected Carnage cycle. A long two-handed tank rotation using Guard of Dancing Steel and Feint Attack is a different configuration even though it belongs to the same class. Complete the directional inputs and combo finisher instead of interpreting each combo name as a single instant spell. The selected ranks give the reader a concrete historical baseline; learning a different rank or changing feats requires checking its actual steps and interaction on the character.
