Tree of Savior: Peltasta / Rodelero / Murmillo shield PvE build

Tree of Savior: Complete 45-point allocations for three shield classes, with Swash Buckling, Shooting Star, Butterfly, Escudo Espada, Arena and named card choices.

Tree of Savior character building begins with a base class family and develops through additional class choices.

OPMetaBuildReviewed 2026-10-17Detailed configuration

Use a one-handed sword and shield across the three selected advanced classes. Peltasta supplies the defensive and gathering foundation; Rodelero and Murmillo add the named shield attacks. The allocations are complete at their stated 45-point budgets. Optional extra points and newer equipment progression are separate decisions.

How to use this setup

  1. Equip the shield, prepare Hard Shield and Guardian, and use Cassis Crista for the selected Murmillo arrangement.
  2. Use Swash Buckling to collect a manageable group, then adjust its position before committing area attacks.
  3. Use Shield Push when its debuff is useful, followed by the available Shooting Star, Targe Smash and Shield Bash attacks.
  4. Use Shield Train to gather suitable enemies, then Scutum Hit and Butterfly in their usable ranges; spend Frenzied Burst only when its landing position is safe.
  5. Refresh defence when needed, use Slithering or movement for the encounter, and avoid removing the shield while depending on its buffs.

Priorities and progression

  • Physical attack and STR support the selected physical skill route.
  • Shield Physical Defense is an offensive as well as defensive input for several named shield skills.
  • Maintain adequate Accuracy, Critical statistics and survivability for the actual area. Inspect attributes and Arts separately from the base skill-point allocation.

Read each allocation as its own budget

The three advanced-class lists each total 45 points. The number beside a skill is a target allocation within that class, not a shared level or a free item bonus. Secure the class levels and points before reproducing the full set; add optional bonus points only after checking their actual unlock.

Preserve the equipment that activates the kit

Hard Shield depends on the equipped shield. The shield-attack attributes and individual skills may also use its defence. A weapon swap made for a larger attack figure can therefore remove the interaction you were trying to improve. Compare the whole arrangement and keep both active weapon sets compatible when using them.

Requirements and scope

International PC Re:Build-era shield combination, with 45 points in each advanced class and access to the named Vaivora/card targets. Historical 2023 allocation; no current raid-rank or latest gear-score promise.
