Trove Neon Ninja: Haxstar dungeon farming setup

Trove: Equip Heuristic Haxstar, Pyrodisc, Explosive Epilogue, Vampirian Vanquisher and a named flask/emblem/ally combination for physical dungeon farming.

Trove character progression combines class damage, equipment, gems, Light and collection systems; Power Rank alone does not explain a build.

OPMetaBuildReviewed 2026-10-17Detailed configuration

This configuration connects Neon Ninja’s charged shuriken with movement and on-defeat effects. Farm a difficulty where regular targets die promptly; increasing difficulty until every room becomes a prolonged boss fight defeats the purpose of the movement kit.

Activity
Ordinary dungeon farming at a comfortably clearable difficulty
Edition / reference
PC Trove mechanics reviewed October 2026; named farming baseline with current Mystic progression acknowledged.

Configuration and exact selections

Class
Neon Ninja

Use a Physical Damage configuration.

Weapon
Melee sword with Physical Damage

Choose the sword tier available to the character; this is not a magic build.

Class Gem
Heuristic Haxstar

Its larger penetrating shuriken changes the throwing-star attack.

Empowered Gem 2
Pyrodisc

Select the named farming-oriented empowered effect.

Empowered Gem 3
Explosive Epilogue

Use the named on-defeat explosion effect for groups.

Empowered Cosmic Gem
Vampirian Vanquisher

Its critical-hit proc supports movement and a following life-leech hit.

Flask
Death-Defying Vial

Automatic low-health use is a recovery tool, not infinite healing.

Emblem 1
Martial Emblem

Match the physical damage type.

Emblem 2
Trailblazing Emblem

Select movement support for the farming route.

Ally
Rapt Berserker

A named physical ally with nearby-defeat recovery and movement effects.

Movement and control actions
Shadow Flip / Stasis Blade

Use the actual class movement and root tools.

Burst action
Final Technique

Reserve it for an appropriate sustained opening.

How to use this setup

  1. Equip the four named empowered effects across the three elemental slots and the Cosmic slot; the Class Gem occupies one elemental empowered slot.
  2. Build up to three throwing-star charges with normal attacks.
  3. Use Shadow Flip, then the normal attack in stealth to release the charged shuriken.
  4. Use Stasis Blade for the next approach or to control a group, and Final Technique during a suitable longer opening.
  5. Trigger the flask deliberately when an emblem window is useful, preserve remaining charges and refill at a Rejuvenation Station.

Priorities and progression

  • Physical Damage and Critical Damage are the offensive priorities; build reliable Critical Hit without treating values beyond the normal 100% chance as another probability increase.
  • Movement Speed supports this farming objective; meet the actual Light and entry requirements of the selected world before moving upward.
  • Cosmic gems can supply Light. Use physical rather than magical damage rolls for this character.
  • Mystic equipment, gems and rings exist in the current PC progression; Crystal equipment is not labelled the current maximum here.

How the selected kit works

The four empowered slots are a real limit, so Heuristic Haxstar, Pyrodisc and Explosive Epilogue share the three elemental positions while Vampirian Vanquisher uses the Cosmic position. Rapt Berserker benefits a route with repeated nearby defeats; it is less useful to judge it solely by an isolated boss without adds. This is a practical named farming baseline, not a claim that a low-tier sword or an old ring effect equals a completed Mystic character. Choose ordinary gem rarity and upgrades according to the character’s available progression.

Requirements and scope

Requires Neon Ninja, its Class Gem and the listed collections; no Bard/Solarion subclass or temporary Mystic ring effect is assumed. Designed for routine farming, not a universal boss-damage ranking.
