Prepare the twelve listed gems as an identifiable spell set, and summon the selected pet before the pull. The setup suits fights long enough for periodic effects to contribute. Against a nearly dead enemy, spend less mana establishing a full stack and retain resources for the next target.

How to use this setup
- Prepare Merciless Assassin and its support effects before engaging the group’s chosen target.
- Use Decree for Blood when its recourse is needed, then establish Pyre of Illandrin, Extermination and Luggald Venom on a target that will survive their application.
- Add Ecliptic Paroxysm and the other selected periodic lines as the encounter duration and mana budget permit.
- Monitor your own effects and refresh deliberately; avoid replacing a healthy-duration effect simply because its button is ready.
- Keep Instill Ally available for the pet. Stop offensive casting or move when the encounter’s control and survival requirements demand it.
Priorities and progression
- Intelligence, mana capacity and mana recovery support this caster route.
- Damage-over-time focus, spell damage and relevant critical/focus effects need to match the spell levels you actually cast.
- Pet focus and defensive statistics remain part of progression; the spell list alone does not supply a complete raid equipment set.
Match the number of effects to the target
Treat the bar as a menu with a planned order, not twelve mandatory casts on every enemy. A short-lived add and a named enemy need different mana commitments. Record which lines finish useful ticks before the target dies, then shorten or expand the next cycle accordingly.
Learn ranks and open the required gems
A level number does not grant every listed spell rank or every additional spell gem. Obtain the spells, relevant progression unlocks and enough usable gems before reproducing the whole set. Keep a pet and recovery preparation outside the damage sequence instead of starting an encounter unprepared.
