A named sword-and-gauntlet action setup for the magical Moonlord path. Its multi-hit waves reward keeping the target inside the attack area, so spending every cooldown on a boss that is already leaving can waste more damage than a short reposition.

The named Moonlord attack; keep a clear landing and target line.

How to use this setup
- Equip Sword and Gauntlet on an awakened Moonlord and prepare the listed EX/mastery unlocks.
- Maintain Moon Blader, then use the awakened Moonlight Splitter opening; use the normal-attack follow-up input for Cyclone Slash during the permitted recovery window.
- Place Crescent Cleave EX and Halfmoon Slash EX into an opening where the target is expected to remain.
- Use Impact Wave into the Class Mastery III Moon Blade Dance EX follow-up when available; do not assume every ordinary cast becomes instant.
- Use Crescent Slash through its permitted follow-up entries and its additional hit, then use the awakened Great Wave follow-up inputs during a safe longer opening.
Priorities and progression
- Intelligence and Magic ATK fit this Moonlord path; a Warrior label does not make Physical ATK the correct primary offensive direction.
- Critical and Critical Damage should be evaluated with the character’s actual caps and content scaling, not a copied historical fixed number.
- Match any class-specific skill jade or rune to Moonlord’s actual selected skill; changing class does not automatically make another branch’s enhancement useful.
- No fixed element-conversion choice, current strongest jade or auction-house price is assumed in this action baseline.
How the selected kit works
The setup separates three interactions: the awakened Moonlight Splitter follow-up into Cyclone Slash, the Impact Wave mastery link into Moon Blade Dance EX, and Crescent Slash’s relationship with the awakened Great Wave cycle. These are specific actions to practise, not an instruction to copy a level-50 Classic tree into regular SEA. Once their inputs are reliable, match the character’s actual jades, runes and equipment to the skills carrying the damage. The ten starter families above are the complete starter roster, while advanced specialisations have their own unlocks.
