Star Resonance guide: class focus, seasonal equipment and raids

Plan Blue Protocol: Star Resonance progression with a clear party role, current seasonal equipment, Battle Imagines and a practical dungeon routine.

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is its own MMORPG and should not be confused with the discontinued original Blue Protocol. Its equipment and seasonal systems evolve with the service. Build your first route around the current character, the class you intend to play and the activities your party can actually enter, rather than a launch-era tier screenshot.

Keep one main class plan readable

Read the class and specialization descriptions available in your client and identify your party contribution. Separate a damage window, a recovery tool and the action that responds to pressure. If testing another class, compare its controls in familiar content before redirecting upgrade resources. A shared visual style does not mean two classes use the same resource rhythm or equipment priorities.

Check the season before following equipment advice

The official October 2026 store description presents Season 4, new dungeons and an Eternal Radiance weapon system. Treat old equipment ceilings as historical until checked. Review the current route for obtaining and improving the weapon you use. Keep the next upgrade tied to an activity requirement rather than spending on every item that raises a displayed total slightly.

Read seasonal effects before combining them

Psychoscope effects and the newer Imprint system add choices to the character’s build. Read what condition triggers an effect and whether your class can maintain it. Check Battle Imagine actions for timing and utility rather than judging only appearance or rarity. Add one new interaction to the practice routine at a time so you can see whether it actually helps.

Prepare the whole party for a dungeon

Confirm the selected class role, entry requirements and supplies before queuing. Learn the boss’s dangerous direction and how the group handles a targeted mechanic. A support cooldown is useful when it matches incoming damage; activating everything immediately can leave the later phase uncovered. Discuss an unfamiliar encounter before the pull instead of assuming every player knows the same route.

Leave room for exploration and supporting activities

The game also supports fishing, crafting and exploration. Give these a separate goal instead of treating every activity as a mandatory combat upgrade. After a dungeon, review missed mechanics, interrupted damage and the next realistic equipment requirement. This makes the next session actionable without promising that a rare Imagine or a single item will solve every weakness.

A short practice exercise

Choose an easy encounter and keep the class setup unchanged. Add one Battle Imagine action or one selected seasonal effect and note when it activates. If it never contributes during your normal sequence, inspect the condition before investing further. Separating the variables makes equipment and timing decisions easier to understand.

Before your next session

  • Confirm Star Resonance and the active season.
  • Define the class role before upgrading.
  • Read triggers on Psychoscopes, Imprints and Imagines.
  • Check dungeon access and party responsibilities.
  • Change one combat interaction before judging the result.
