- Choose a place where the next mechanic will not force immediate movement. Put the enemy group in the intended Tidepool area.
- Use Glacier Hymn, Maelstrom and Permafrost to establish the burst and resource window.
- Channel Frostbeam and use Tidepool through Tide Mastery while the target remains in the area.
- Stop the channel to move when necessary. Use Frost Shelter for the selected defensive response rather than attempting to survive by continuing damage.
- Rebuild a sustainable resource window before another long channel; use the fixed basic attack if other recovery options are exhausted.
