Albion Online: Regular Bow and Mercenary Jacket: complete solo PvE loadout

Albion Online: Equip a named T4 Bow package with Multishot, Ray of Light, Enchanted Quiver, Bloodlust, food and a complete combat sequence.

Equipment defines abilities in a classless sandbox. Progression on the Destiny Board and the loss rules of the chosen zone matter as much as item tier.

OPMetaBuildReviewed 2026-10-17Detailed configuration

This is a complete inexpensive regular-Bow package built around sustained basic attacks. The jacket restores health while you continue attacking, and the cowl adds close-range damage. Use it to learn a repeatable single-target fight in a non-lethal zone before taking any version into full-loot content.

Configuration and exact selections

Weapon
Adept’s Bow (T4)

The regular Bow, not Warbow or Longbow.

Q
Multishot

Keep a cone knockback available against approaching creatures.

W
Ray of Light

Root the selected area before committing to basic attacks.

E
Enchanted Quiver

Empowers the basic-attack window; use its recast for repositioning.

Head
Adept’s Mage Cowl — Firebreath

An offensive cone when enemies have already approached.

Chest
Adept’s Mercenary Jacket — Bloodlust

Attack during the effect rather than running without dealing damage.

Feet
Adept’s Mercenary Shoes — Refreshing Sprint

A movement and cooldown tool, not a reason to overpull.

Cape and bag
Adept’s Cape; Adept’s Bag

Basic energy support and carrying capacity without an expensive cape proc.

Food
Catfish

Recover between fights; it is not an in-combat emergency heal.

Potion
Minor Poison Potion

Reserve it for a target worth the consumable cost.

Mount
Journeyman’s Riding Horse

Budget transport while learning the route.

How to use this setup

  1. Open on an isolated creature with Ray of Light, then activate Enchanted Quiver and basic-attack while its area is safe.
  2. Use Multishot to create space or interrupt an approaching enemy. Reposition with the quiver recast rather than standing in a telegraph.
  3. When health drops and you can continue attacking safely, activate Bloodlust and keep landing basic attacks. Firebreath adds damage at close range.
  4. Use Refreshing Sprint to reset position. After combat, let Catfish regeneration restore health before the next pull.

Priorities and progression

  • Use T4 equipment you can equip through the relevant Destiny Board nodes.
  • Weapon specialization and item power improve the package; no universal stat-point allocation exists.
  • Replace lost items with the same affordable package before purchasing enchanted upgrades.

Why these pieces work together

The Bow needs a safe period of repeated hits. Ray of Light and Multishot buy that space; Bloodlust turns a period of continued attacks into recovery. The offensive cowl is useful when a creature closes the gap, but it does not replace leaving a dangerous attack area. Keep the equipment skills selected exactly as listed: a Mercenary Jacket with another ability is a different loadout.

Requirements and scope

T4 beginner-to-intermediate solo PvE; all regions. The source package is dated and is not a lethal-zone survival guarantee or a large-scale PvP build.
