OPMetaBuildPublished 2026-10-15Classes · 2026-10-15 · Reference notes

Choose your first class by the job you enjoy doing repeatedly. A damage ranking cannot tell you whether you will enjoy healing a moving group, holding a frontline or staying close to a boss. These are role comparisons, not a power ranking.

Compare the eight core classes

Area melee damage

Gladiator

You enjoy fighting several nearby enemies and judging when a pack is safe to approach.

Tank

Templar

You prefer leading the engagement and giving your group a stable frontline.

Precision melee

Assassin

You want close-range combat where target choice and timing matter.

Ranged damage

Ranger / Marksman

You like managing distance while following a moving target.

Burst magic

Sorcerer

You prefer magical attacks and planning a damage window.

Solo-oriented caster

Spiritmaster

You want a class whose announced identity supports independent play.

Healing and damage

Cleric

You want to alternate between keeping allies alive and contributing damage.

Versatile support

Chanter

You enjoy helping a group through utility rather than concentrating only on personal damage.

Three questions before choosing

  • Do you want to be responsible for the group’s survival, or concentrate on dealing damage?
  • Do you prefer staying close to enemies, or keeping a clear view from a distance?
  • Will you mostly play alone, with friends or in organised PvP? Pick for that activity first.

Class names can differ between regional translations; Marksman and Ranger refer to the ranged class in the references used here. The eight-class baseline comes from the publisher’s presentation; regional updates can change the roster.
