The idea

Forcewave lets a Soldier build around a clear main attack instead of distributing every early point across unrelated skills. This framework explains what to check before deciding on a final two-mastery combination. It does not require a named legendary set.

Skills and tools

  • Forcewave — read the weapon conditions and damage tags of the version you intend to use.
  • Tremor — inspect how the modifier changes Forcewave and its equipment requirements before selecting it.
  • Military Conditioning — a Soldier passive to examine for a sturdier foundation.
  • Complementary defence and resistance reduction — develop these with a clear damage plan and second-mastery choice.

Equipment priorities

  • Weapon: meet Forcewave’s requirements and support the intended damage type.
  • Resistances: patch dangerous gaps instead of relying only on armour rating.
  • Components: use affordable components to solve a real defensive or utility weakness.
  • Damage modifiers: avoid mixing several incompatible plans just because an item is rare.

Combat plan

  1. Position enemies so the main attack can reach useful targets.
  2. Watch resource use and avoid standing in damage simply because the character looks armoured.
  3. Move away from dangerous ground effects and resume attacks from a safer position.
  4. When an encounter stalls, compare the relevant damage and defence requirements before grinding blindly.

Progression order

Develop one main attack and the passive foundation supporting it. Choose the second mastery after checking its contribution and permanence. Higher difficulties place more pressure on resistances and overall defence. A complete endgame plan needs more than a campaign damage skill.

Limits and alternatives

This is a levelling framework with no published clear-time measurements. Enemy resistances, equipment conversions and the second mastery can substantially change the final build. Do not treat a loosely matching item name as proof of compatibility.
