Aion 2 dungeon preparation: groups, roles and readiness

Prepare an Aion 2 dungeon group with service-specific entry checks, clear roles, equipment context and a useful post-fight review.

Before joining a dungeon, check the name and difficulty in your own client, then agree on a simple group plan. A guide for another regional service may describe a different party size, reward system or entry threshold. Those differences matter more than a date in a headline.

Match a dungeon guide to your service

NC’s July 2026 Chapter 1 announcement describes a level-50 update, five-player Expedition and Transcendence groups and ten-player Sanctuary groups on the service receiving that chapter. Global launch followed in October. Do not apply the July party sizes or dungeon requirements to an activity merely because both pages say Aion 2; confirm which chapter and difficulty your client offers.

A practical readiness checklist

  • Read the entry conditions and reward rules shown for the selected activity. Check whether you are joining the intended difficulty.
  • Agree who leads positioning, who provides recovery and how the group signals an urgent mechanic.
  • Check equipped skills, current resources and consumables before the first engagement.
  • Keep a safe retreat position in mind. Avoid placing the group where an escape is blocked.
  • Use your own complete stats to judge progress. The reference Cleric’s collection-heavy totals are not a dungeon access rule.

Review one failure at a time

After a wipe, identify the first event the group could have changed: an unsafe engagement, a missed mechanic or a resource problem. Assign one concrete adjustment for the next attempt. If the same mechanic is still missed, buying gear does not test the proposed solution. Once execution is stable, compare the damage or survival improvement you actually need.
