Before choosing a build
Warframe’s equipment rank and mod strength are different systems. Rank gives access to capacity and features, but the installed mods determine much of the practical power. Inspect a failing mission as a combination of damage, survival, energy and objective handling. A new Warframe alone may not solve a weak mod setup.
Your progression checklist
- Check capacity after every mod change.
- Read the exact polarity and drain cost.
- Mod the relevant equipment, including exalted weapons where applicable.
- Save scarce resources until you know why the upgrade is necessary.
A focused practice exercise
Use a familiar mission to compare your current setup before and after ranking a single essential mod. Pay attention to ammo or energy use as well as completion comfort. Read the mission objective before trying to solve every problem with damage: defending, moving and interacting may matter more than eliminating the entire map.
